BrandPlay Launches #BusogLusog100: Easy And Nutritious Meals On A Budget For All

With #BusogLusog100, BrandPlay is transforming meal prep by proving that nutritious meals don’t need to break the bank.

BrandPlay, the country’s fastest-growing Integrated Marketing Communications agency specializes in brand and corporate reputation campaigns, announces the launch of its latest campaign, #BusogLusog100. This initiative aims to empower Filipino homemakers with the tools and inspiration they need to create nutritious meals on a budget of just Php100, addressing the ongoing challenge of food poverty in the country.

#BusogLusog100 is in response to the latest data from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), which highlights that Filipinos need approximately Php64 daily to avoid food poverty. Through the campaign, BrandPlay invites homemakers—Nanay, Tatay, breadwinners, and anyone who cooks at home—to share their best meal preparations that cost no more than Php100 for the main ingredients. Participants are encouraged to showcase their creative and practical approaches to meal planning by posting photos of their budget-friendly dishes on social media.

This initiative not only provides valuable guidance on meal planning and budgeting but also contributes to the global effort to eradicate poverty, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 1: No Poverty. The 2030 Agenda recognizes the eradication of poverty in all its forms as the greatest global challenge and a crucial requirement for sustainable development. By encouraging the sharing of effective strategies for managing food expenses, the #BusogLusog100 campaign aims to contribute to the global movement towards achieving this goal.

Fritz Cruz, BrandPlay’s Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the campaign: “Our vision for #BusogLusog100 is to not only guide homemakers to prepare nutritious budget-friendly meals, but also to help build a community that aims to inspire homemakers. We aspire for every Filipino homemaker to feel empowered to not only take on their nutrition challenges at home, but also to play an active role in tackling food poverty by simply sharing their creativity and resourcefulness in the kitchen to help fellow homemakers. We believe that by sharing these stories, we can make a meaningful impact on how families across the country manage their daily meals.”

BrandPlay invites everyone to join the movement and share their #BusogLusog100 meals. Through this collective effort, we can demonstrate that nutritious and delicious meals are possible even on a tight budget, helping to ensure that every Filipino can enjoy the dignity of a well-prepared meal.
