PAGEONE Media Wins 1 Gold And 2 Bronzes In 2017 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards

MANILA – PAGEONE Media wins big with 1 Gold and two Stevie® trophies at the 2017 Asia Pacific Stevie® Awards according to the announcement of the awards organizers released today.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognize innovation in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards for fifteen years.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to PAGEONE Media at a gala banquet at the Hilton Hotel in Tokyo, Japan on 2 June.

More than 700 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year in categories such as Award for Excellence in Innovation in Products & Services, the Award for Innovative Management, and the Award for Innovation in Corporate Websites, among many others.

The campaign, “Avatars: Digital Family Surrogates of the Youth”, which makes use of social media to help Filipino youth cope with bouts of sadness and depression won a Gold Stevie® for its Innovation in the Use of Social Media. The same entry won the coveted Platinum Award – the best of the best award for PR tools – in the recently concluded Anvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

The other PAGEONE Media entries – The Race To 3 Million: Sustaining and Scaling Up U4U Campaign Nationwide and Goodbye Dumi, Hello Healthy won a Bronze Stevie® each.

U4U, which was cited for its excellence in the use of social media, educated more than 5 million Filipino youths about the risks of early pregnancy using multi-platform campaigns. On the other hand, Goodbye Dumi which promotes healthy behavior on proper sanitation won for its innovation in community Relations or public service communications.

Both campaigns were led and managed by the Center for Health Solutions Innovations Philippines Inc. in partnership with PAGEONE Media.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 50 executives around the world acting as judges in March and April.

“We at PAGEONE are honored and humbled by these awards and recognition. We share the awards with all our partners and the millions of beneficiaries impacted by our campaigns. The Stevie® awards attest to the creative genius of those who work hard to advance positive change and promote social good through development communications and social marketing,” Vonj Tingson, PageOne Group President said.
