APAC Stevies Names PAGEONE President, Jury Chair Of PR And Comms Category

A Filipino PR executive is making waves again in the international public relations scene as the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards named PAGEONE President Vonj Tingson as chairman of the jury that will evaluate PR and communication campaigns of top companies in APAC.

This was according to the recent announcement of the Stevie Awards, one of the most prestigious international award-giving bodies that recognized outstanding campaigns in Asia Pacific.

Mr. Tingson was selected to chair the jury panel for the corporate communications, public relations, publications, events, and video awards entries. His selection is a nod to his outstanding credentials in developing and implementing global-award winning campaigns that have already harvested close to 400 trophies around the world.

This senior executive manages leading the public relations firm in Asia, PAGEONE Group, which was recently awarded Best PR Agency in Southeast Asia and has already been recognized as one of the most innovative PR agencies in Asia Pacific.

“Being one of the chairs in such a prestigious international award-giving body is truly an honor, not just for me, and my company but also for my country, the Philippines. This is a clear testament that Filipino PR practitioners are truly global and are equal to their counterparts in Asia Pacific. I look forward to evaluating campaigns that truly exhibit the power of PR and communications in the lives of all and their impact on the world,” Mr. Vonj Tingson said.

Along with Mr. Tingson are other well-known personalities from Australia, Singapore, and another Filipino who was recognized because of her journey as the youngest female CEO of a company.
