PAGEONE Group Partners With Red Cross In Reinforcing Emergency Readiness

Through PAGEONE Socials, PAGEONE Group teamed up with the Red Cross Rizal Chapter to bring first-aid training to its staff. Red Cross officers Jackson Rodis and Ian Suanino led the session, giving employees the chance to practice key emergency response techniques. The workshop underscored PAGEONE’s dedication to employee health, safety, and readiness.

The training covered fundamental life-saving techniques, including CPR, wound management, and proper response to choking incidents. Employees actively participated in simulated emergency scenarios, allowing them to apply their newly acquired skills in real-time situations. The session also included guidance on handling fractures, burns, and heatstroke—critical knowledge that could make a significant difference in emergencies at work or at home.

Charlaina Delfin, HR officer, emphasized the importance of such training in fostering a culture of preparedness within the organization. “Our social session today was very informative; the Red Cross team is here to help provide information on what to do in emergency situations. Although they visited us two years ago, it’s good to have a refresher because some of the employees may have forgotten how to perform CPR or apply bandages in case of injuries. In emergencies, every second counts! Knowing what to do can literally save lives—whether it’s your own, your family’s, or even a stranger’s. The more you know, the better your chances of survival—especially during natural disasters like typhoons and earthquakes.”

Beyond theoretical knowledge, the training emphasized the importance of remaining calm and taking decisive action during high-pressure situations. Employees were also educated on the proper use of first-aid kits and the significance of regularly updating emergency contact information.

By investing in first-aid training, PAGEONE Group underscores its proactive approach to workplace safety and corporate responsibility. The collaboration with Red Cross Rizal Chapter is a testament to the company’s ongoing efforts to cultivate a workplace environment where employees feel empowered and ready to handle unforeseen emergencies.

With its strengthened emergency response capabilities, PAGEONE Group continues to champion safety, ensuring that its workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to protect and assist one another in critical situations.
