From Cannes To Milan And Paris, PAGEONE Media Expands Its Global Footprint

PAGEONE Media expands its international reporting footprint from Cannes to Milan and Paris, bringing global developments closer to Filipino audiences through firsthand coverage.

From Cannes to Milan and Paris, PAGEONE Media is steadily taking its coverage beyond Philippine borders and into some of the world’s most important stages for culture, creativity, media, and business.

The Philippine digital media network is mounting on-the-ground coverage of Milan and Paris Fashion Week this September and October, continuing an international coverage strategy that has previously brought PAGEONE Media to Cannes.

The expansion reflects a deliberate direction for PAGEONE Media: to increasingly report global developments from where they are happening while interpreting them for Filipino audiences.

For the Women’s Spring/Summer 2027 season, PAGEONE Media has organized a three-person editorial operation connecting Europe and Manila. Filipino casting industry professional Arne Gershwin Gogo will report from Milan Fashion Week from September 22 to 28 before continuing directly to Paris Fashion Week from September 28 to October 6.

Editors Khirby Serrano and Gen Asas will anchor the operation from Manila, turning reports, images, observations, and commentary from Europe into stories and digital content across PAGEONE Media’s platforms.

The Milan-Paris assignment follows PAGEONE Media’s previous international coverage from Cannes, extending a model that combines on-the-ground presence with editorial interpretation for audiences back home.

For Ron F. Jabal, Chairman and CEO of PAGEONE Group, the progression from Cannes to Milan and Paris represents more than simply adding international destinations to PAGEONE Media’s coverage.

“Being global cannot simply mean reporting about what is happening elsewhere. There is a difference between watching the world from Manila and actually being present where global conversations are taking place,” Jabal said. “Cannes gave us an opportunity to do that. Milan and Paris take us further. Our ambition is to make international presence an increasingly important part of how PAGEONE Media operates.”

The strategy comes at a time when media consumption has become increasingly borderless. Filipino audiences can encounter developments in entertainment, fashion, technology, and culture almost simultaneously with audiences elsewhere, often through social media and digital platforms.

For Jabal, that abundance of information makes the role of Philippine media even more important.

“Filipinos already have access to the world. The challenge for Philippine media is no longer simply giving them that access,” he said. “We need to provide context, interpretation, and a perspective grounded in who our audiences are. Being there allows us to see beyond what eventually reaches the feed.”

That approach will shape PAGEONE Media’s Milan and Paris coverage.

Beyond runway presentations, the team will follow the ideas, personalities, and industry movements surrounding Fashion Week, including developments in branding, luxury, entertainment, technology, sustainability, celebrity culture, and the creator economy.

It will also examine those developments from a Filipino and Southeast Asian perspective, including the growing visibility of Asian talent and influences and what global shifts could mean for Philippine creatives, brands, consumers, and culture.

For PAGEONE Media, however, internationalization is ultimately intended to work in both directions.

“We want to bring the world closer to Filipino audiences, but that is only half of what we hope to accomplish,” Jabal said. “Philippine stories, ideas, creativity and perspectives also deserve space in global conversations. We want to build a media platform increasingly capable of doing both.”

From Cannes to Milan and Paris, PAGEONE Media’s growing international presence signals that ambition: to be where global conversations are happening while creating more opportunities for Filipino perspectives to become part of them.
